KARA and I left early the next day because she had to stop by her house to get a change of clothes for school. I had to drop her off and leave, then drive around the block and pretend that I’m just arriving to pick Kara up. She told her parents that she stayed at Carmela’s house instead of mine.
When we got to school, everyone was still talking about the dead hiker. The police do not have any leads other than the claw marks on the hiker, which they are assuming came from the wolf. They can’t confirm because they have not seen or heard the wolves again after the hiker was found dead.
