"Love is not just looking at each other, it's looking in the same direction" ------------------------------ I continued doing my works at the kitchen even though our guests were inside the house. But Jimin was the one who will talk with them while I was cooking at the kitchen. We were going to have lunch together and I didn’t get to cook yet because we overspent our time going to the mall and also at the supermarket. “Hyura, if you are tired, we can just order the food even though you’re already promise me to cook.” Jin Oppa shouted from the living room. Yes I did promise him that I wanted to cook for him when he came to my house, so I didn’t want to order the food. “Nah it’s okay. I’m doing good over here.” I shouted back. A few seconds later, Jimin walked into the kitchen. “Hello, nerd! Want me to help you with?” He asked. I was serving the foods on the dining table but he was still following me from my back. He was getting clingier day by day and always be annoying. “I already finish cooking, Jimin.” I said while placing all the plates onto the same table. It was about the lunch time to I had to do it quickly. Jin Oppa and his girlfriend walked into the kitchen where me and Jimin were at. They took their seat at the dining table. “Yah! Hyura, this is Aireen.” Jin Oppa said while introducing his girl to us. Maybe Jimin already knew her since they were talking at the living room before they were in the kitchen. I bowed while smiling at her. “Aireen Unnie, I’m Hyura.” I said politely and smiled at her. She seemed so quiet. Maybe she wasn’t feeling comfortable with us yet. “Hyura, stop being polite. That’s weird.” Jimin said to me as he was acting like throwing up. That was so rude. I was just being polite as I respected her as a new person. “Let’s eat.” I said and all of us were taking the foods and placed them onto our plates. Jimin kicked my legs while I was eating. I helped him to put the foods on his plate; he was acting like a baby. “Hyura, can you feed me just like how you did in the morning?” He said while pouting. Jin Oppa was looking at both of us while smiling sheepishly. I rolled my eyes and took the spoon forcefully. Jin Oppa eyes didn’t move as he was still eyeing both of us. Until he started to sigh and looked away. “Can’t you guys just confess already?” He said with his annoying tone of voice. Just like how he usually talks. We both ignored him and just continued eating. Jin Oppa and Aireen Unnie were praising my cooking as they thought the foods were so good. “I’m very proud of my wife. I didn’t know that she’ll become a good cook like this. I’m very proud as I was the one who taught her how to cook.” Proudly he said that he was the one who taught me how to cook. That was so weird and I had no idea how that he suddenly taught of praising himself like that. We all rolled our eyes after hearing what Jimin just said excluding Aireen Unnie who was laughing and Jimin who was pissed because we just laughed and didn’t join him praising himself. “Jimin, stop embarrassing yourself in front of Aireen Unnie.” I said and continued laughing. Jimin turned his body and faced me with his glare. I knew he was kind of hurt with what I just said but it was my intention to say that to him. “I have a really supportive wife right here.” He said while rolling his eyes. I knew he wasn’t mean what he just said. We just continued laughing. “I really like seeing both of you together.” Aireen Unnie said. I was smiling shyly while Jimin was turning his head quickly to face Aireen Unnie. He seemed very agree with what Aireen Unnie just said. Because his facial expression said that way. “Yah Noona, for the first time I heard your voice and I agree with what you just said. We are such a sweet couple. Am I right?” Jimin said just like he already knew Aireen Unnie for a long time. With his left hand wrapping around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. My eyes widen as I heard what he just said to Aireen Unnie and with his action. My face was heating up as I was blushing but I tried very hard to cover it from being too obvious but I failed. “Hyura! You know action speaks louder than word.” Jin Oppa said as he noticed my red tomato face. I quickly hide my face from looking at all of them. Everyone was laughing as Jimin was teasing me as he finally noticed that my face was heating up. “Shall we go now, before this couple starts to make a scene again?” Aireen Unnie said. Jin Oppa was smiling as both of us stood up and walked towards the front door followed by both of us. Jin Oppa stopped walking right in front of the door. He turned his body around and faced both of us; me and Jimin. “Love is the base of marriage. If you keep on hating each other, you can never make it, remember that.” Jin Oppa said with his serious voice tone which scared both of us. Even though love cannot be forced as it included feelings, we could help the feeling to come, by being nice to each other. That’s what my parents said before we got married. I knew, I was melted as Jimin was being so nice to me just now, but I was just thinking that he was being nice in front of Jin Oppa as he didn’t want Jin Oppa to know that he hated me that much. Because of me, his relationship ruined. I waved my hands to both of them and waited until the car can’t be seen. Jimin entered the house first and left me at the outside of the house. After that, I entered the house again and closed the front door and saw Jimin saw still remaining seated at the dining table while drinking the water. I looked at his direction confusely. “Yah Park Jimin, when will you go home huh?” I asked while taking my seat in front of him at the dining table. His eyes followed mine after I said that to him. “Why are you so excited to see me out of here?” He asked. His eyes were still plastered to me; watching every movements that I made. I felt uneasy and unconmfortable with his stares. Because it felt very weird when he did that. “I’m just saying. We hate each other so why would us living under the same roof?” I said and poured a glass of water for myself and took a sip of the drink. Jimin remained quiet for a few minutes but his eyes weren’t move to somewhere else but still plastered on me. “Hyura, just tell me, how long will you lie to yourself about your own feeling? We actually love each other, don’t you realise that? I’ve been loving you and I already realised that by the time you cried when you saw me and Nuryn at the beach before. But look at you, still lying to yourself.” He said with a really slow voice tone. It wasn’t like how he used to talk but he seemed more serious that before. His words were hitting me that hard. “Idiot...do you think that I’ll simply trust you? I know myself better that you know me.” I said and rolled my eyes before I stood up and made my way towards my room upstairs. But I stopped walking as I heard the front door was opened. I didn’t turned around to take a look of it but I remained standing there. “I’m not making you to believe my words but I’ll make you realise your own feeling. You don’t believe that I sincerely love you, it’s up to you, Hyura.” He said and the sounds of the door clicking can be heard. He walked out from my house. I continued walking into my room and looked through the window, his car was away from the house. At first, I didn’t think of anything after he left. But after a few hours, the feeling of guilty started to appear. I knew that I was just felt guilty because I’ve been so mean towards him. I grabbed my phone while sitting on the bed. “Jimin...are you mad? If you are, then I’m sorry, okay?” I typed and sent the text to Jimin. But I’ve waited for a few minutes already, I still didn’t get a single text from him. I kept on texting him; hoping that he will replied. “Do you want to watch movie together?” I asked and sent the text to him. But it was still the same. He didn’t reply at all. He must be very upset. A few minutes of waiting, Jimin wasn’t reply yet. I waited with the sound of raining outside and slow thunders can be heard. It was very scary as the sounds of heavy rain started to be heard and the thunder was very loud. “Stop, Hyura.” I received the text from Jimin. A smile appeared at the corner of my lips. Even though he was asking me to stop but he still replied. But the smile faded away a few seconds after a lightning flashed can be seen. I crawled on my bed and cover myself with my thick blanket as I didn’t want to see or to hear the lightning at all. I quickly dialled Jimin’s number. “Jimin!” I shouted as loud as I can with the sounds of the thunder went along with my voice. I believed that my voice was loud enough, but Jimin didn’t hear me clearly. “What, Hyura?” He asked. There was no sound of thunder at that time; it was just the sound of rain fallen onto the roof. I took a deep breath and talked. “Jimin, I’m scared.” I said slowly. It was the fear that I didn’t get over since I was still a kid. It was something that I wanted to get rid of but I failed, always. “Stay there!” Jimin shouted through the phone and he ended the call. I was covered with the blanket and with pillow on my head. The rain was getting wilder. The lightning flashed was very loud. In fear, I was thinkiing, if Jimin did come here safely? I wanted to see him safe. A few minutes later, the door of my room was slammed opened. Jimin ran to my bed to take a look at me. He sat on my bed and slowly removed the blanket away. As the blanket was removed from covering my body, I quickly grabbed his hands and pulled him into a tight hug. “Don’t ever leave again!” I said while hugging him. At that time, I knew that I needed someone that much, to protect me. “I’m always here, Hyura. Always.” He said; more to whispered, while moving his hand to pat my head just to comfort me. We started to fall asleep together as I felt safe with him around. . . . I woke up after hearing the sound of alarm from Jimin’s phone. I rubbed my eyes and walked out from my room and walked downstairs to the kitchen as I heard some noises coming from the kitchen. I saw Jimin in the kitchen looking so hot with wearing the apron. I stood there while looking at Jimin from his back but he smiled when he turned around as saw me looking at him. “Hey, beautiful. Come and have your breakfast.” Jimin said while serving the foods on the table. I rolled my eyes while my legs were still walking towards the direction of the table with foods. “Yah! Stop calling me that.” I said and took my seat on the chair at the table. Jimin seemed like ignoring what I just said and kept on eating the foods. But then, he looked at me while smiling sheepishly. “Okay, if I can’t call you here, I’ll call you that at school. That’s the only choices that you have.” He said with a smirk appeared at the corner of his lips. “No way! Not at school!” I said half screaming. He laughed while chewing the remaining foods in his mouth. “Okay, now eat.” Both of us continued eating the breakfast. As the soup entered my mouth, I was very amazed. I kept on eating it and Jimin was very happy as I ate what he just cooked. But I wanted to make it clear, the soup was very delicious. I really liked it. “Jimin...” My words were cut by Jimin. “Keep your words, I know you love my foods.” He said. Yes I was about to praise him but I didn’t feel like doing it anymore as he was full of himself. “Okay now, go and wear something nice. We’re going out.” Jimin said while placing his plates into the sink. I was still eating the foods as it was very delicious. “Where are we going, oppa?” I asked to him. He was still washing the dishes while I was still eating. He chocked as he heard what I just called him. He smiled to ear as he heard that and he turned around to face me. “Shopping mall, keep on calling me that, I like it.” He said. He continued washing the dishes. I stood up and walked towards his direction while bringing my plate. I put the plate into the sink; wanting him to wash it for me. “So this short guy is driving?” I asked and laughed before running away from the kitchen into my room. I heard Jimin yelled my name from the kitchen, I felt very satisfied as he was being teased like that.
