I WOKE UP IN THE MORNING thinking about that kiss. I woke up reliving it in my mind. My first kiss! My first one ever and it had to be with a weird girl I barely knew. It was strange, but I’d never been able to picture myself kissing anyone. I’d never wanted to. Why couldn’t I stop thinking about it? As I rolled over on my lumpy, pokey straw mattress, I forced my brain to change the subject.
