Day Forty-Nine Dear Diary, While I wait for the Ley Queen, I eat my weight in elf crackers. Twice. And I’ve spun through everything I’ve learned lately. No new insights appear. If anything, I’m only making myself super-anxious while over eating the equivalent of saw dust. Finally, the Spaghetti Man knocks on my door once again. “Come along, Calla.” At last. Spaghetti Man guides me through the labyrinth of hallways that make up the castle. With each step forward, my pulse speeds faster. Yesterday, I’d placed confronting the Ley Queen dead last on my list of stuff to do. Now my denial skills are failing. A dream-like haze clouds my mind. Everything in the Ley Queen’s castle seems merge together into a great blue smudge. Spaghetti Man leads me back to another work room. Like the one
