Kidnapping that girl was very easy for George Garroway. Now he feels happier and more comfortable with his current situation. He took the woman's body to a hiding spot he knew in the lower part of the city, a pit under the sewers where no sane werewolf would go due to the unbearable smell that made anyone vomit at first.
He tied her to one of the gas pipes as best as he could. He used white plastic ties to keep her restrained. He saw the figure of a strange woman in the shadows there. He had stocked the place with supplies for three or four days, as he felt a ravenous hunger in this hunting state. He knew they would start looking for him as soon as they realised the woman was gone.
He could smell it on her more strongly now, even though it was very faint. She was expecting a baby.
Harold Halland and his sons still held their position as leaders of the pack. She had the future leader on her hands. It was guaranteed that everyone would obey the baby, and she only needed to wait for nine months to prove it.
He wondered about the location of his pack currently. His mother ought to be waiting for him in a town nearby, but she wasn't known for patience. In fact, she seemed out of touch with reality, and had been in charge of the pack since she killed his father. She even handled small tasks when hunting, because she had never had a true partner.
Andrea felt her head was about to burst. She needed peace but couldn't open her heavy eyes. Her breath quickened as she recalled being kidnapped from her own house. The man she had opened the door to had taken her somewhere unknown.
She was hit with the smell of the sewer which made her feel disgusted and nauseous. It was a struggle but she pushed open her heavy eyelids. the man was sitting on a chair, his claws sharpening a piece of wood. She was speechless. Suddenly, she remembered he was a werewolf.
Why would someone kidnap her? She thought about what they had told her a few hours ago. Maybe it was about the rival werewolf pack. She had warned him she was at risk, yet she found herself in peril. Those two knuckleheads had put her in terrible danger. She now regretted coming to town and ever meeting them.
Everything would be easier if she had never met them. She wouldn't be kidnapped now.
—So far you wake up pretty— his accent was completely different now, it was low like a growl and the words were slurred especially where the r's were, the guy couldn't be from this area, he even sounded like he wasn't completely human, lower, like an animal —I hope you know how to behave because if you don't you're going to have a really bad time.
Andrea Smith felt trapped and scared. She wanted to stay away from danger, particularly with a man whose long claws looked sharp enough to slice through her fragile neck. She feared the worst.
—I'm impressed that you're not still screaming, most of the women had already freaked out about it, I'm glad I don't have to hit you again, because I don't enjoy doing it— a crooked smile appeared on his mouth, making the woman feel worse —Actually yes, I like blood and blows, but it would be strange with a pregnant woman— that left her completely confused and she thought that the guy had more than one screw loose because she wasn't pregnant, but maybe she would respect him more if she thought he had a life inside her, she decided to keep completely quiet.
She could quietly say —I won't shout — Saying the words was difficult for her. She wanted to negotiate, but crazy people weren't easy to work with.
—I hope we can get along if you act sensibly— The man thought the woman was too guarded; she'd probably attempt to escape. His plan was insane, he'd make her feel like her life was over, but he didn't want to harm her too much because she was pregnant. He needed her to have the child first and later torture her, even killing her.
She could be his partner, if two leaders saw something in her, it's likely because she's unique.
—I won't try to escape and if you let me go free I'll never say anything, I don't want any trouble— she gave a long breath —I know you're werewolves, you're in the middle of a war and I'm not part of it, I don't want to be in the middle of whatever is going on between you— that made George laugh.
The woman was very brave and intelligent. She knew that the alpha males considered her to be a suitable mate. She had the potential to lead the pack and raise strong children, but the man didn't know she was pregnant, so he didn't take it into consideration.
—I don't think it's very important, but I won't let you go because you're not a trustworthy woman— those words struck a chord in Andrea Smith, who was deeply afraid that something would happen.
—As soon as they find out I'm gone, they'll both come after me and I assume that's what you want, by your eyes, your attitude, you have to be another alpha— those smart deductions made it harder to have a talk, the girl was a good woman —Why start a war, people will die, they'll hunt your people for getting to me, you have to know and your people will fight back, but is it worth it, we just have to have a long conversation, I can convince them to stay away.
—The two werewolves are crazy about you, they want to have you, they'll do whatever it takes to be by your side and I'm counting on that, I want the whole Halland family to suffer— the man's voice sounded even more animalistic.
