AUSTIN CONQUEST.
Austin pov.
The wave of the water pushed me to a rock.
I was weak and bleeding, I didn't know where I was, but I could see a large body of water.
That means I'm far away from the place where they attacked me.
As I was slowly fading away, an unknown male figure approached me and rescued me.
I sprung up from where I slept.
Some parts of my body were wrapped in bandages. I took a good look around.
It was like a cave.
“So you are awake,” the voice sounds familiar.
“Who are you?” I politely asked.
“You already know who I am,” the strange person uttered.
“Thank you for saving me, at least I'm not dead yet,” I appreciated.
“So you were shot on the shoulder. You are a lucky young man, Austin,” the stranger explained.
Austin, how did he know my name?
“How do you know my name?” I asked.
But he doesn't say a word to me.
I clenched on my wounds, thinking about how my brothers wanted me dead just for money.
“I knew who they really were, that was why I chose you but you refused. If I wasn't alive, you would have been dead by now,” the stranger's words surprised me.
“How do you know all this?” I curiously asked.
“That is because I'm your,” he revealed himself to me from the shadows. “I'm your father, Austin,” he concluded.
“What? That can't be. I watched you die right in front of me,” I said out loud to his hearing.
“I faked it all. Look, there is a lot I wish I could tell you, but right now, I can't,” he tried explaining to me.
“What do you mean?” I uttered.
“I mean, you should run away. But before that,” he brings in a document.
I skimmed through it.
it was an inheritance document.
“But I don't want this. It was because of this I was almost murdered.” Just as I was speaking to him, he interrupted me.
“You need to sign it now. Before I die, I want to witness it that you sign those documents,” he concluded.
I signed my name on the documents and passed it to my father. Then he snapped his finger, and a man walked in, taking the documents.
My father stares at me with his eyes piercing into mine, “Now I bestow upon you the family fortune. My son do me well by surpassing my legacy and extending our bloodline.”
After saying those words, he died on my arms. “Rest in peace, papa,” tears rolled down my cheeks unto his body.
At that moment, I vowed to kill my brothers. The next day I traveled to France with nothing on me, not even a briefcase.

After disposing of Austin, I moved into my father's house.
“So you did it, didn't you?” the cold voice said.
I froze by the stairs.
Who is that person?
I slowly walked down the stairs. That was when I saw him. Steve.
Steve was my immediate elder brother after Austin. We haven't heard from him in years, it was as if he just disappeared.
Maybe Austin informed him of his father's passing because I'm sure I didn't say anything to him.
I stylishly walked in, “Did what, Steve?”
He chuckles, “I mean, you finally killed dad.”
At this point, I didn't know what to say. Yes, he was aware of my plan to kill Austin. But I didn't tell him about my plan to kill my father.
I sighed, “Yes, I did. Now that he's dead, we can share everything evenly among ourselves. What do you think?”
“Who would be sharing it?” he asked.
I gnashed my teeth, “You, of course. You are now the elder brother after Austin.”
I should be the one to share them, not you. You didn't work like the rest of us, and here you are fighting for what isn't yours. That is why I killed Austin.
He stood up. “Alright then. I will make sure that nobody is left behind. I will share them evenly among ourselves. Is that alright with you.”
I nodded in response.
He heads to the door. “Very well then. I will be on my way.”
I glanced at him from behind.
You, how dare you boss us around? That's why I hate my elder ones, they feel superior and entitled. If you don't watch your steps, Steve, I will kill you just like I did with Austin.

I smiled.
I knew it. Furthermore, I knew he killed his father. At first I was just joking around, and he thought I was serious.
I can't believe that he would do something like that to our father. I'd better be careful of him because if he can kill our father, who knows what he would do to me?Now I will just have to jot down what I will buy with all that money I will inherit. Lots to do.

It's been five years since the incident. My looks have changed. I now look different and more mature than I was before.
During my years in France, I learned numerous business etiquette and developed ideas. I went to France broke and poor, but after two years I became a millionaire from there to a billionaire.
My journey started from a shelter in an asylum camp. I had ideas that would make me rich. But nobody seemed interested. So I had to work day and night, running up to ten jobs.
As God would have it, I made it by selling one of my ideas for over a billionaire dollars plus. From that money, I invested in my other ideas and made billions.
Giving me the title of a billionaire.
I have now succeeded my father's wealth. The same wealth my good for nothing siblings almost killed me for. I have made more than enough, now it's time for my revenge.
I just landed in South Africa. The atmosphere was welcoming. I felt at home, but the scars remained.
I lounged in a hotel nearby, close to where one of my brothers frequently visits. Likewise, I wasn't recognizable, so even though he sees me, he won't be able to recognize me.
My plan was to kill my brothers for almost killing me. Now that I'm rich, it won't be difficult for me to do.
It was evening. There was a club nearby, so I decided to go there. Steve also comes here, so it won't be hard for me to just make away with him.
Martin pov.
Milton Martin.
That's the new name for the company. Ever since Steve refused ownership, I have been the person running the affairs of the company.
Although it was hard, eventually I settled in and made millions of dollars.
So is this what Father was enjoying that he didn't want the rest of us to enjoy? So that was why he chose Austin to succeed us.
Millions of dollars flow in every second. The money is insane. I get tempted sporadically to spend the money. And I always fall for the temptations.
Myself and my brothers had a deal. Each month, a certain percentage would be given to them. As long as the deal remains, then our little secret remains hidden.
“Sir. Mr. Steve wants to discuss with you,” my secretary said.
I left to see Steve.
There he was, sitting in the meeting room. He looks like a mess.
I couldn't help but ask, “What's wrong with you? You look terrible?”
“Nothing. I just came to speak with you,” he sits down.
“Make it snappy,” I uttered.
“It's about five years ago. Since that day, my life hasn't remained the same. Martin, I'm losing my mind. Every so often I dream of my father and Austin chasing me and forcing me to confess. I believe I will talk,” he agitated.
I snarled.
You loser. If you say a word of this, you would be dragging all of us involved down the freaking drain. If you do that, what do you think would happen to all of this?
I glared at him, “You better not dare it. If you say anything about five years ago to anyone, then all this would be for nothing. Just shut up and live with it.”
“You don't get it. We are all cursed. Nothing can save us, not even death,” he said his last words before leaving.
I tilt.
Watching him walk away.
You didn't know. The moment you accepted to kill Austin was the moment we signed a deal with the devil. We killed for what wasn't ours, at least we got to spend from it before we crumbled to dust.

I still hear the voices of my father and my brother. I have spent millions in therapy. Used pills. I lived a life I thought would cheer me up.
But still, I'm empty. So every night, I usually hang out at a club. Filled with young ladies in their youths and lucid substance. That was the only place I felt at peace.
Martin sent me a little parting gift from our conversation. It was five hundred thousand dollars. He sent a message saying, “Use this to forget about your sorrows.”
I Chuckled.
Like this would ever be enough. Everything about my life has collapsed since then. I know that my time is near.
I was drinking by the bar when I saw a crowd gathering at a table.
I'd better check out what's going on there, maybe a stripper is there performing.
When I got there, I saw two men gambling.
Maybe things might get interesting from here.
I sat and watched them play. I was right, it was entertaining and intense. The other man defeated the professional like he was still a beginner.
I was amazed. Then he approached me and bought a drink for me. His eyes were piercing. His presence drew a large crowd around us.
“Sir. Can we talk for a minute or two?” he said in a French ascent.
I hesitated.
But sure, I will like to speak with you.
