I stood up from the bed, with me being rushed to the hospital, I didn't expect her to be the one looking worse. I touched the side of my head where the impact had connected and winced from the pain, though Mira sleeping figure made me forget about it in moments.
My head swam with varying thoughts, but I shelfed that as I took my phone from the hospital table and dialed my mother's number. Mira's sorry figure had a cut a deep hole in my heart and I couldn't help but feel pity for her and anger that my mother would treat her as such.
