MIRA’s pov
I jerked away from Drew, my hands unwrapping themselves as I leaned back into my pillow. Drew didn't jerk back, instead he just raised himself slowly and stared at the door. Together, we watched Luke enter, his eyes narrowing instantly as he stared at how close Drew was to me.
Due to how smoothly he had raised his head, Drew was no longer ‘inappropraitely’ close to me, instead now he just towered over me easily.
“What is he doing here?” Luke growled as he took a step further towards us. Drew finally left my side and took a step towards Luke. The silence was like.gunpowder, just leaving one spark to ignite and cause an explosion I definitely didn't want to see.
After a moment though, I calmed myself down. Even though there was something definitely weird going on between Drew
