Luke's POV
I tore out of the room after putting on clothes, but all I saw were maids who glanced at me in shock and tried to look at anywhere except from me.
“Where is she?” I shouted as I started to bolt down the stairs. If she had left, if she left again after what I'd done… I don't know what I'd do.
“She left immediately sir.” Came the reply but I already knew that as I bounded for the door. Then the door opened and I almost ran into Chloe Kingston.
I paused for a moment as we stared at each other, but it was just for a moment as I tried to move past her.
“Wait, Luke! This is important.” Chloe called out as she grabbed my hand. I almost tore my hand out of her grasp but I stopped.
