“Yes something of such did happen, as I said, the fragrance department is a new one and it wasn't under my direct purview.” Luke quickly said as he stood, somehow looking weaker than before, but more dangerous.“That is why I am taking direct control and even here escorting my director rather than my wife.”
I know that Luke was thinking of a way to extricate himself from the pit that he had fallen into, but the fact that he could only just barely keep his reputation safe, made a feeling of pride well up in me.
