Luke's POV It wasn't hard to find where she had gone to, she didn't actually hide it and it took just minutes to check and track her location to ensure she was really there. I tossed the tube in my hand as I drove through the city, my mind definitely not on the road as Mira's cold dark eyes haunted me through every turn. I still couldn't understand why I felt this way, why my chest hurt this much and the only I could think about was how much I hurt her. Previously, through all the times she had left or confronted me with tears and pains I took as tantrums, I also felt a ache, but it was dull and more like a want than a need. Even after she left the city with her Grandmother, I only just realised how her every smile and frown was imprinted in my mind. But it still didn't hurt this much
