Mira's POV
I finally came to after some time, my head banged and my body screamed in pain, but I was used to this. Even the sharp light that would have stunned anyone was not as bright to me as before as my eyes adapted to it faster.
Talk about an improvement after staying in the hospital for so long.
I raised my hand but I felt the UV drip tugging at my skin and I dropped it. Everything seemed woozy for a minute or two before my mind sharpened.

I jerked upright at the thought, my mouth mirroring my inner words as I shouted it out loud. But then a spell of wooziness suddenly hit me and I fell back to the bed groaning. It was as if I had just woken up from a f****d up hangover.
