Mira's POV
My smile died immediately as I gave him a stern look. Drew looked serious for the first time and his childish behaviour disappeared in an instant as the CEO of Seravine appeared once more.
Luke turned and met his gaze and both men stared at eachother for a while, their staredown getting more uncomfortable as Drew relaxed in to the chair.
“What are you doing here Luke? You know you can't drag her out like you used to.”
Luke frowned as he almost growled, “Stay out of this Lin, I am talking to her not you.” then he turned to me and reached out a palm, “Let's go Mira.”
I wanted to shift back to avoid his grasp but Drew easily caught Luke's palm and I could see Luke sway slightly… wait a minute, I stared closely at Luke and could finally see that his eyes were red.
