Judas sat on the windowsill with the window open in his office. London was more alive than it had been for weeks; there was a tension in the air. The weather was becoming much more like Spring, and it felt like there was more hope everywhere. The people down below on the street were still avoiding eye contact with each other and closing out the world with bigger and bigger headphones. The cars were still legion, and the cycle couriers still swarmed around them like flies around a discarded burger with cheese. The Black Museum was quiet.
