        I spent the next 4 weeks lounging in the living room every single evening after school, peeking out the giant windows and eyeing on the mail. I had sent in my essays and my transcripts to Brown University almost 4 weeks ago and I did not get a good night sleep at all. A good 30 minutes, a mailman stopped by my mail box with a letter bag and stuffed in a bunch of letters in our mail. I could feel my ears ringing. Could it be here? I wasted no time in jumping off the couch and made my way to the main door, running all the way barefoot, through the drive way and around the water fountain in the centre of it and stopped at the mail box, breathing hard.
