BROKEN YET STRONG

The car halted at the MURTHY RESIDENSE and Nandini came out. She went inside her house all running and crying. 

Aryaman being a true friend couldn’t handle it anymore. Nandini was already crying since they left the college and now it was high time he need to get the truth.

Aryaman walked inside the house and saw Nandini walk the stairs up to her room and before he could call her she went in her room and banged the door hard. Aryaman was now tensed a lot for his friend before he could make a move to go up and confront Nandini he recieved a call from Navya 

Arya: Navya .

Navya: Aryaman how is she?

Arya: She has just been crying since then. Navya please tell what happened at college.

Navya told Aryaman everything that happened between Nandini and Manik. Arya was furious on Manik for hurting his best friend. His knuckles got white when Nandini’s crying face came in front of his eyes 

Arya: Navya. I wont leave him. he has broken her. How could he? 

Navya: Arya. Arya listen you won’t do anything.

Arya: He can do anything he want but i can’t

Navya: Aryaman please for Nandini. She needs your support more than anyone right now. 

Aray: no Navya. Manik have to pay for this. 

Arya turned to move out of the house and kill manik

Navya: Aryaman you have Nandini’s swear.

Arya stopped moving further

Arya: Navya 

Navya: Arya at this point of time more than anyone Nandini needs you. Please if you loose your temper than nothing will be right.

Arya: i guess you are right. Now i won’t even let that bastard go any closer to her. 

Navya: Yes. Whatever you want to do you can but for now relax. Give nandini some time. It’s not easy for her to handle all of this together.

arya: ok bye 

Navya: bye and take care

IN NANDINI’S ROOM

The whole room was shattered just like Nandini’s heart or far more than that and she sat in between all the glass pieces and i love you cards which she bought for Manik. Right now she didn’t even cared if her hand was shedding blood due to those broken glass pieces because her heart was shedding more blood than her hand.

Nandini was crying remembering all her past memories with Manik which made her feel happy yesterday were now making her regret on her decision.

Nandini pov

Why? Manik why ? Why did you do this to me?

I genuinely loved you with my whole heart. But it’s my fault i should have never believed you. Just for a foolish revenge dare you broke my heart today.

Aiyappa why does everyone leave me. Am i so bad that i don’t deserve anyone in my life. Firstly mom and dad left me and now my first love left me shattered. 

I will never forget this Manik Malhotra never.

It was high time for nandini so she just took a vase and threw it at the mirror devastating the poor mirror into tiny pieces

The whole night she couldn’t sleep thinking how her life has taken a 360 degree turn in a single day.

NEXT MORNING

Nandini was still sitting on the floor with her eyes closed. She had been crying the entire night and cursing herself for loving a jerk like Manik. Her tears had dried up completely.

Aryaman entered her room and his heart ached the next moment he saw her state but he knew that he needed to compose himself so that he could console her.

Arya moved forward to nandini and sat down beside her bt nandini had her eyes still close thinking that she might be sleeping he started stroking her hair with utmost care then suddenly Nandini opened her yes. The first thing she did was to hug Aryaman and cried her heart out .

Arya: Nandini shhh. hey. Calm down . I know everything. 

Nandini: but why me Aryaman? Why always me? 

Arya: look you are a princess right . All of our princess and princesses don’t cry

Nandini hugged him more tightly sobbing in his arms Aryaman broke the hug and kissed her forehead 

Arya: Nandini please stop crying you know how much i hate when you cry. 

Nandini: but Aryaman

Arya: Nandini relax. Look just get ready fast we need to go to college

Nandini stood up abruptly and stood near the window

Nandini: Aryaman i..... I cant face him 

Arya: Nandini. I know you are not a coward so you have to fight like you fight always. But this time with your emotions with your destiny. You need to show yourself that how much precious is your smile 

Nandini: But Aryaman you know

Arya: No if’s and but’s we need to leave, we also have fest today or Navya won’t leave us.

To his statement Nandini smiled a bit and Aryaman pushed her inside the washroom.

Arya: Nandu

Nandini: yes? 

Arya: Your smile is precious never ever let it go from your face. I’ll be waiting down you get fresh and meet me there.

Later on Nandini and Aryaman left for the college ofcourse after some much needed banter and arguement because Nandini well she was in no mood to eat anything but Aryaman forced her to have her breakfast

AT COLLEGE

Nandini and Aryaman came out of the car and were about to enter the building when Nandini stopped

Arya: Nandini. Let’s go 

Nandini nodded in a no.

Arya: for me please

Nandini stepped inside the college with Aryaman beside her. Navya was waiting for them she knew she has to keep a happy face so that Nandini would feel good.

Navya: hi Nandu. Let’s go it’s time for your favourite class right now. 

Nandini: yes

The trio went ahead when Fab 5 came infront of them. Manik wanted to talk to Nandini but her eyes told that she is very much shattered.

Aryaman was very angry but still he composed himself and held Nandini’s hand walking ahead ignoring Fab 5

Cabir: Arya( manik interrupted)

Manik: Cabir. It’s my fault. I’ll handle it. You relax

Dhruv: we trust you dude 

Mukti: and its my fault toooo. So you are not alone 

Manik: thanks guys. 

Later on after classes

IN CANTEEN

Fab 5 was sitting at their original places when Navya, Aryaman and Nandini entered 

Cabir: guys. Come here.

Nandini stopped in the middle of the path and Arya sensed her discomfort

Arya: Nandini if you are not comfortable its fine. 

Nandini: No Arya i am fine

Navya,Aryaman and Nandini went to fab 5 . Navya sat beside Cabir and Aryaman knew what Nandini was going through so he sat beside Manik while Nandini sat beside him.

Manik was stealing glances of Nandini but Aryaman was blocking his view. Manik tried so much to talk to Nandini but she just kept on avoiding him.

Then suddenly the bell rang and before Manik could say something. Nandini stood up held Aryaman’s hand and walked out of the canteen leaving Manik with a counter of emotions jealousy, guilt, disappointment and well alot more.
