COUPLE DANCE

The last spotlight fell on Nandini. She was shocked and feeling shy while Navya was very happy for her friend. Friendship you know. Navya’s best friend got the chance to perform in front of whole college and show her talent. 

Here on the other hand Manik was awaiting for Nandini to perform but she hadn’t moved even an inch.

Navya: Nandini go and perform. Its your turn.

Nandini: no Navya i can’t. I feel awkward. 

Navya: Don’t think about the people. You love singing right so go.

But Nandini still didn’t moved. Navya was feeling wierd as all of the others were watching Nandini with full concentration and waiting for her to perform. 

Navya: Nandini everyone is looking at us. Please go. Please 

Nandini: Ok

With this nandini moved towards the stage with slow steps. Every guy was just staring at her while the girls were not even a bit interested because they were jealous of her since Nandini had been grabbing everyone’s attention.

But here our hero, Manik’s heart was beating so fast with her every step towards the stage. This feeling was something new to him and he himself wasn’t aware why but he was feeling something different and strange.

Nandini came on stage and the light went off. Now nandini was at the center and she started her song.

She started her song looking down whereas manik was lost in her beauty as the dim light was making her face shining like moonlight

Nandini came down the stage and started dancing with a random guy. It was a couple dance so everyone was shocked to see nandini dancing with a guy because earlier she had rejected the hottest guy of college I.e. Manik and now she’s dancing with a random guy.

The guy started twirling her around and here our Manik was fuming in anger watching them

Now the guy changes and she started dancing with another guy

The boys were changing one after another and twirling her around and dancing with her. Manik didn’t liked the way the boys were holding her

Manik came forward and took nandini ’s hand put her hand on his shoulder and he kept his hand on her waist ... Pulled her closer and started dancing with her

Nandini started to leave along singing but Manik pulled her back and started twirling her

Manik started moving on the rhythem swinging their bodies together.

Nandini turned and now her back was facing manik. He made her hair fall on one side and started smelling them moving too close to her

Manik held her in air and she just opened her hands feeling the moment

Manik kept Nandini down and put his hand on her waist indicating the other boys that right now she was his property

Their bodies were moving in a sync and both were lost in each other they were hell close to each other. Manik’s full concentration was on her lips and he started moving towards her. And Nandini closed her eyes

They were just an inch apart and were about to kiss just then the music got over and everyone clapped bringing manik out of his trance. He saw nandini standing in the center with a random guy and she thanking him for helping her in dance.

Manik POV

What is wrong with me. What was i even thinking or rather dreaming about. This needs to be true. Manik you need to control your emotions here. You are loosing it big time here. This girl is driving you crazy man.

The host came on stage

Host: Nandini girl you rocked it. Now guys enjoy your self until i come and give you another surprise. So just enjoy and DJ rock the music.

With this the music started and everyone started enjoying this night with dance and gossips.

Navya: Nandini you were fantastic there. Total chick style. 

Nandini laughed : Thank you Navya 

Random guy came to Nandini : Hi Nandini

Nandini : hey

Random guy : I am rohan ( giving his hand for hand shake).

Nandini : ohh hi rohan ( shaking hands)

Rohan : Nandini I just came to tell you that you rocked it. You were awesome tonight.

Nandini: Thanks. Thank you very much

Here on the other side fab 5 were standing at the bar counter and drinking and talking but manik is looking at Nandini and fuming in anger seeing that guy touching Nandini

Cabir: Manik. Manik 

Manik’s trance breaks 

Manik: yaa cabir. You were saying something?

Cabir : Manik are you fine I am calling you since ten minutes..

Manik: No. No. Nothing. You tell me what’s wrong.

Cabir Looks at the direction Manik was looking and sees Nandini there talking with a guy. He smirks

Cabir : Nothing bro you tell. Did you like Nandini’s song?

Manik: Frankly speaking she was pretty good there but those guys she was dancing with. I just wanna kill. ( manik realises what he was going to speak and stops) 

Cabir : Yes Manik who do you wanna kill? Huh?

Manik : what? what are you saying? Nandini ya ya she was fine.

Cabir : Manik are you sure. Just fine. 

Manik : ya. ya . You drink this. I’ll just be back after a call. 

Cabir : I understand. Go. Go. And don’t leave the call in between for me.
