Chapter Four

I couldn't help but re-read the letter, Over and over again. He missed me so much when he was still here, and I didn't even realise it. And.. was this his way of telling me... he loved me?

'Well, He has written, ''I love you Amanda''!!' My mind screamed at me again.

I couldn't help but giggle a little with the thought. Quickly, Jumping off my bed, I moved back over to my laptop, and logging on again, I HAVE to message Jack right now! But when I opened up my email, I was surprised to see a message in my Inbox.

ONE MESSAGE FROM XJACKYX

'Hey Manny :) Don't worry, You'll see me soon, I miss so much too. :) xxxx'

Oh, that was..short. But at least he messaged me, Right? Noticing the message was sent a few minutes ago, I decided to try my luck and see if he was still online.

Logging into Skype quickly, I saw he WAS online, but his status was set to ''away''.

Amanda: Hey Jack, you online? 6.59pm

I waited and waited but he never replayed. At 7.30, I decided to log off and get some dinner. Surprisingly, Mum and dad weren't home yet. Grabbing the phone, I decided to give them a call and find out what time they would be home.

RING-RING, RING-RING, RING-RING, RING-RING..

Weird, no one was answering. I tried my dad's number and again, no one picked up. Screw them. I'm ordering Chinese.

Turning on the TV, and deciding that a horror movie was a good choice right now, I tucked into my dinner, It was still scolding hot, but sooo yummy. As I ate, the opening credits began. Deciding on a good, old classic, The Texas Chainsaw m******e, I settled down for the night to, at least TRY and enjoy myself. I went upstairs before, but Jack still hadn't messaged me. I pushed the thought away, not wanting to get upset over it.. again.

*Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz*

Quickly picking my phone, I realised it was a message off Daisy. Smiling, I read it and replayed.

'Hey Chick, Just wanted to see your ok, and up for a shopping trip tomorrow? xxxx'

'Hey Boo, Yeah, I'm fine thanks, Just wanting a movie, As for the shopping trip... HELL TO THE YEAH!! :D xxxx'

Setting the phone down, and taking anther mouth-full of chicken fried rice, I waited for her reply.

*Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz*

'Great! I've been talking to Jack, He's just landed :D x I'm so happy for him!! xxxx'

Wait! WHAT!?

'Hold on... You've been talking to Jack?!'

*Buzz Bu-*

I didn't even wait for my phone to finish going off, I instantly picked my phone up and read her reply. Honestly... I'm f****d off right now!

'Yeah, Of course, But he had to go :( You know, getting his bags and stuff, But he said he'll message me once he's had a laydown and something to eat :) Why... Whats wrong? xxxx'

'He's been ignoring my messages and won't talk to me, but he's been talking to you! :@'

*Buzz-*

'Yeah, He has more than one friend you know, Not everything is always about you. God, jealous much! Forget about the shopping trip! I can't be bothered with your stupid f*****g drama! You say you don't want him, but if he spends more than a minute hanging or talking to me, you go off the f*****g handle! Sort your crap out, Amanda!!'

'What the f**k, all I said was he's been ignoring my messages, Get off your high-horse!'

I threw my phone across the room, shattering it into three different pieces. Oh, Great! I just tried to completely forget about everything that's happened over the past 24 hours...
