Chapter Eighteen

I sat down at the table, Everyone barely noticed our return, So, I guess they never noticed Daisy and Jack's exist. Anger bubbled inside me again and I balled my hands into fists under the table.

'Hey, don't let it get to you.' Donnie leaned over and whispered. I just looked at him. Obviously, It wasn't his fault.. but on the other hand, He was the one who said Jack loved me, Like... Actually confirmed it, and then my heart was ripped out of my chest.

'Don't talk to me please, because I'll just end up screaming at you and saying something I regret, and At the moment, I'm not in the mood' I whispered back but made my tone a fair-warning. It seemed to work because he leaned back and started to chat with everyone else. Not really feeling in the party mood anymore, I quickly finished my drink and stood up.. a little too fast and instantly became light headed.

'Wow, careful Amanda' Ryan chuckled as he stood up and caught me, Just in time, As I began to fall down again. 'Maybe you should go home, Here, Come on, I'll take you'.

I looked down at Ren and saw her looking away, with a sad look on her face. She was really into Ryan. Smiling, I pulled out of Ryan's hold and sat down again.

'No, I'm fine, Just stood up a little too fast. I don't wanna go home yet, Stay and talk to Ren, I'm going to get a soft drink from the bar'. Smiling at her, which she instantly returned with a ''Thank you'' smile back. Standing up, Slowly this time, I made my way through the crowded room to get my drink.

'Hey, What can I get you?' The attractive barman asked. Mmm, What is it about barman that make them so god-damn sexy.

'Just a coke, No ice please' He smiled and went to get it for me, I didn't even notice Ryan pop up behind me until he had his chin resting on my shoulder and arms wrapped around my waist.

'Helllllllooooo' I smiled, He was obviously drunk.

'Hey Ryan, I thought I told you to stay at the table with Ren'. The barman came back over and passed me my drink, I handed him the money and turned to face Ry. 'Well?'

'Everyone wanted drinks'. Stepping around me, He headed to order. Smiling, I made my way back through the room towards everyone. When I got back everyone was still deep in conversation apart from Ren, she just looked sad.

'Hey, are you OK?' He didn't speak, Just nodded. 'Wanna go talk about it?' She shook her head. Sighing, I stood up, Grabbed her arm and pulled her all the way towards the back door and out into the alley. 'OK, Talk'.

'Nothing... Really'.

'Is it Ryan?' She stayed quiet again. 'So it is. What's he done?'

'I asked him out' I smiled. That's great! at least one of us should be happy tonight. 'But he said no, I'm too young for him'.

'What?!'

'I know.. I don't wanna talk about it, I just wanna go home'. I could tell she wasn't happy, so, I just nodded and headed back inside, finding the guys, and asked to go home.

'Oh, God!' My head was killing me when I woke up the next morning, The sunlight was too bright on my eyes and the sounds of music, floating up through the floorboards were more than enough to split my head wide open. Trying to sit up in bed, I realised I was still dressed in last night's clothes and slowly started to make my way towards the pile of clothes on the floor. Grabbing just a normal cosy jumper and some skinny's, I changed.

When I looked partly human again, I made my way out of the room and towards the stairs. I couldn't tell who was up and who wasn't but I had a good feeling Ren would still be in bed.

'Hey, Manny... Can I talk to you for a minute?' I heard someone ask from down the hallway, Turning to see it was Jack, I simply said ''No'' and carried on down the stairs. I could hear footsteps coming up from behind me, So, I quickened my walking and hoped Id reach the bottom before he reached me... But no such luck. 'Hey, whats up? You seem to be in a right mood with me'

'Very smart Jack'. He just gave me a hurt and sad expression. It made a ping of guilt jolt through me, but then the image of him and Daisy last night came back into my mind and all guilt was gone.

'What's your problem with me? I haven't done anything. You haven't been away from Ryan or Donnie long enough for me to see you'.

'We're just friends Jack, But, You've hardly spent two seconds away from Daisy since we arrived!' I yelled back.

'We're friends too you know, not just me and you!'

'Special friends'. I growled.

'Excuse me?'

'I saw you last night, outside the club...And I heard you two last night when we got back. Everyone did!'. A look of horror washed over his face.

'Manny..'

'Oh Jack, Please don't stop, You're amazing, I've always loved you, GOD!!!' I imitated what I heard Daisy say last night. As I did, Pain ran through my heart. 'So, Don't say I'm not allowed to be friends with anyone else, because unlike you, I'm not sleeping with your best friends'. Leaving Jack with the worst look I've ever seen from him, I headed into the kitchen to grab some breakfast...
