Elena’s pov The shapeshifter looked around the shelter frantically. My heart pounded as I stood frozen. The thought of a shapeshifter in the pack scared me to the bones. Before he could make a break for it, Lucas was already holding him up. One moment he was right beside me and the next he was in front of me. He grabbed the imposter by the scruff of his neck, yanking him backwards. The guard stumbled, fear blooming in his eyes as Lucas pressed a silver dagger against his throat.
