Chloe’s Pov
I heard a gasp after telling Lucas about his father.
I turned to the direction of the sound “Who’s there?” I called out but no answer.
I turned to Lucas who was still in shock about the news.
“Wait here!” I whispered to him and began to move in the direction of the noise. I heard footsteps backing away slowly.
When I got to where the sound came from no one was there but I saw shadows of two feminine structures sneaking away.
“Elena!” I said to myself, “Let the games begin.”
I turned back to Lucas, “We can't talk here but if you want to know everything about your father, then meet me in my room by midnight and make sure no one follows you.”
