Elena’s pov
I stepped out of the old woman’s cabin, the damp forest air clinging to my skin. Oliver, his brow furrowed with concern, was immediately at my side.
"Elena, are you alright? You were in there a long time."
I managed a weak smile. "I didn't get clear answers, not exactly... but at least I'm no longer completely in the dark about... everything." I looked past Oliver, my gaze settling on Lucas, who was thankfully alive. "Lucas, are you alright?"
Lucas snapped his gaze to me, his face etched with relief. He nodded slowly. "I am. Thank you for saving Daniel and me. If you hadn't… your vision, making Alpha Oliver send guards…" His voice trailed off.
I smiled warmly at him. "I'm just glad you both are safe."
