AAHIL Three days later, I still don’t feel so well. The effects of magic have worn off but my body is in the healing process and who knows how long it would take for me to recover. Amal is relatively better now. Sadness lingers in her eyes but there are occasional smiles on her face that bring peace to my heart.  The whole house is depressed and so I ask Amal if she still wants to go to the UK. She says yes. No questions asked. Without another thought. As if she was waiting for me to ask her that. I pay the cancellation charges of the first ticket I’d booked and rebook another one.
