“Who are you?” The police officer inquires, eyes narrowed at me.
“Aahil Aryan,” I deadpan. “My parents are being kept under investigation.”
He tells me to wait for a second while he contacts his senior. Understanding dawns in his eyes as I assume his senior tells him about all that I’ve done. I almost want to scoff.
What is this world? It gives blame to those who have done nothing wrong and justice is prevented at all costs. That’s why not a single home is unblemished with r**e. There’s no accountability so why would anybody worry about that sort of thing.
Do they not know that above everything, looking at every matter, is The One who gives justice. Do they not realise how terrible their punishment will be? Both in this world and the next?
