I was looking at Monika who fell asleep in my arms while crying. It took me half an hour to calm her. Unintentionally, again, I became the reason behind her tears.
"She was crying because we were in pain" Wild whispered as if Monika would wake up hearing his voice. I kissed Monika's forehead.
"Shouldn't she hate us after how we behave with her?" I asked Wild.
"Some people are like this only, Ryan. They don't know how to hurt or hate someone" he replied. I nodded and picked Monika up in my arms to take her to her room so that she could sleep properly on her bed.
After lying her body on the bed, I was about to go, but she didn't let go of my arm, and when I tried to release my hand from her grip, she squirmed.
"Dare you to wake her up" Wild scowled. I sighed and lay dow
