I was looking everywhere except Anika who was staring at me. She left me speechless after making me realise how wrong I was towards Monika.
"I'm hungry. Could you please bring something edible for me?" Anika requested. I looked at her and found a mild smile on her lips. I understood she was changing the topic to enlighten the atmosphere. I nodded and then stood up to bring the tray of food I kept on the table.
"I brought steak for you, and don't worry, he made this food in front of me," I said and served the steak on a plate for her.
