Monika was looking at Aaron with teary eyes when Gabriel rushed towards her.
"Monika" He held her by the shoulder and helped her to get up.
"Aaron, she is Monika... I don't know if you remember or not but she is the one who took care of you when you were drowning in pain because of your mate." He said and then sighed when Aaron didn't say a word.
"I'm thinking of choosing her as my chosen mate", Gabriel announced, shocking everyone, including Monika. She looked at him, widening her eyes, and then a smile appeared on her face, knowing he did this only to save her from the hatred of pack members as she raised her voice against their Alpha and Luna. Also, Gabriel wanted to cool the environment.
