I picked a red dress from all the dresses that the designer showed me, knowing the red colour suits Monika. I remember when we met for the first time, I saw her in a red dress. She looked breathtaking. I was confused because that was the first time I felt something for someone after my chosen mate, Jenny, died, and then I got my answer when I felt the mate bond with Monika.
I was adamant about rejecting Monika after our first meeting because I was afraid that if I stayed longer in connection with Monika, then I might fall in love with her because of the mate bond, and I didn't want that to happen.
