Ryan was sitting on his bed, feeling guilty for hurting Monika and her wolf, Anika.
"I think we should apologise to her" Wild mumbled.
"For what?" Ryan grunted and clutched his hair frustratingly.
"For rejecting her like this" Wild mumbled.
"As if we had any option" Ryan snarled and shook his head. "We would've rejected her now or later. It was about to happen"
"But she left while crying," Wild said, feeling bad.
"Relax... This mate bond is messing up with us. Once we reject Monika and she accepts our rejection, everything will go back to its place like before. It's not like we were in a relationship for years, and I rejected her," Ryan replied, his wolf, and shrugged his shoulders, trying to pretend Anika's tears didn't affect him.
