"I... I was coming to meet you" I fabricated a lie and looked at Mother, hoping she brought it. She looked at me for a few seconds, then nodded.
"You should rest and don't worry, now I will not leave your side and next time, give me a voice or mindlink me instead of troubling yourself," She said and cupped my face to kiss my forehead like a mother. I felt immense guilt for lying to her.
"Let's go back to your room," She said. I nodded and walked with her back to my room. I sat on the bed.
