Monika was standing outside the house of her parents, battling with herself whether she should go inside or not. When Monika was fifteen, she left her father's pack and shifted to Aaron's father's pack to live with Aaron. She loved Aaron since she was five, unaware that her future held something disastrous for her.
"No... I shouldn't go inside... I can't face them," she thought and turned to go. That's when her mother came outside and hugged her from behind, surprising Monika.
"Mom" Tears welled up in Monika's eyes. She turned towards her mother and hugged her.
"My doll" Her mother called her lovingly and caressed her hair. Aaron informed Monika's parents about everything that happened with Monika in the pack so that they wouldn't question her much but understand her.
