Monika was trying to engross herself in work, sitting inside her cabin, not wanting to think about Ryan, but nothing was working. Ryan's face, smile, eyes and the moment she spent with him were ruining her peace of mind. At last, she closed her laptop frustratingly and went back home.
"You came at the right time… Let's have dinner" Before Jenny's mom, Olivia, could finish, Monika went towards her room, not wanting to show her distressed face to her mother.
"What happened to her?" Monika heard her mother mumbling to herself because of her amazing hearing power but she didn't stop. She closed the door of her room with a thud and sat on the couch, breathing heavily.
"I wish I could tell him I wasn't playing any victim card, but my destiny made me a victim," Monika whisper
