I stood up from bed to go after Ryan and talk to him, but then I dropped the idea, remembering that I and Anika had decided to ignore him after our intense fight with him in the forest. I sat on the bed and sighed, unable to understand why and how things got so worse for us.
"I know you wanted to reject me from starting, Ryan, but why do you hate me for being your mate?" I asked him as if he was standing here to answer me.
"What do you think about talking to Ryan?" Anika asked, making me frown.
"Talking to him?"
"You promise our daughter that you will sort things out with him," Anika reminded me. I sighed and nodded.
