I hold my Luna close to me and as we drive back to our home, I sense something troubling Mei Li. She is quiet and pensive, but I know she is distant.
“Did you enjoy going to a human school, Mei Li?"
Her head moves to the side and I see her smile. “It was more than I could have ever dreamed of; they have so many books! Our libraries back home are so boring compared to the ones the humans have!"
I chuckle, she is right. Werewolves only kept records of books and documents that had something to do with their culture and history. “So you were entertained, I take it."
