I wait anxiously at the door, a bit worried that I might be late for school when Ro wraps his arms around me and kisses my shoulder. I sigh and close my eyes, taking deep breaths.
“You do this on purpose, don't you?"
He chuckles at my words. “No, I swear I am not. I just had to bring something else before we go," and I feel his hands caressing my neck.
Not long after, I feel something cold and I shiver, my eyes open wide and I turn around to see him. “What is this?"
I caress something resembling a necklace and he smiles at me softly. “I want you to always feel safe and protected, so I had a jeweler craft something special for you."
