“She drives me crazy," I say to Sienna as I sit in bed and sigh. “She is a powerful woman, but she loves to push me to my limits."
Sienna walks out of the bathroom and lays down, inviting me to join her. I close my eyes and lay next to her, sliding an arm under her head. She presses her body to me and looks into my eyes. “That is just how she is, and who knows, maybe she has had people ordering her around all her life. 'Do this, act like this, don't say that.'"
I frown as I look at her. “Are you seriously defending her?"
“I am just saying, she probably doesn't know any other way to be. And we are the ones who are offering her an example of how things should be, so we should try to be more forgiving."
