Mallory walked slowly down the steps, Ryan and Danae following her. She constantly checked what was in the area. “If we get attacked while we’re walking down these stairs we probably won’t survive.” “There doesn’t seem to be anything in the area,” Danae said. “Let’s hope it stays that way,” Ryan said. They managed to reach the bottom of the stairs without mishap, the small beach at the foot of them more mud and rock than sand.
