Scared.
Dane’s POV I don’t know what woke me up but I immediately felt alone. I reach over for Emmaline but she isn’t there. I knew most mornings she went for a run but it was only 6:30. I look over towards our closet and see that her running shoes are gone meaning she must be out for her run early. It takes me awhile to shake my sleepiness. I almost feel like I’m in a daze. I try to link to Emmaline but when I try all I can hear back is static. This has never happened before and I can’t help but feel a slight panic. I start searching the castle linking to Emmitt and Daphne but no one has seen her. I try not to worry knowing she can’t have gone far.
