Lunch Time Part 1-Chapter 8

Emmett woke me, and said "Come on, sleepy head, with dad's lead foot we made it early enough to get lunch before we have to be in the sorting area."

"Food, I hope it is a buffet, because I'm starving." I said as I stretched and got out of the SUV, to find that we were at a Golden Corral Buffet and Grill. "YES" I shouted a little too loud, to the point that people are now staring at me. "What can't a girl love her food, everyone looking at me like I'm crazy."

Emmett gets out and stands beside me and says "That's because you are crazy."

"You're just as crazy as me," I said and stuck my tongue out at him.

"Come on pups, mom called a head to book us for the party area." Dad says, as we all walked in.

"Hello, I'm Ken. How big is your party today sir?" The host asked, "Actually, we have a reservation under the last name Crescent Moon. We booked the party room, with buffet, for 21."

"Oh, yes, one second." Ken picked up a walkie-talkie and asked, "Is the party room ready? The party has arrived."

"This is Annie, and yes, Ken, you can send them back." We heard through the walkie-talkie. "Alright, follow me this way." Ken said. We followed him to a side room. He turned to us, and said "Annie will be your waiter, she is assisting another table at the moment and will be back to get all of your drink order. Then you can hit the buffet." Before he left, I tapped him on the shoulder and asked, "Why do you hide your scent?" His eyes go big, and he stutters out, "h…h…how d…do y…ou kn…ow?"

"I can see and smell your aura. I will be going to the academy, I hope to see you there." I said as I went to find an empty seat between Emmett and Lindsey.

Then I get a headache out of nowhere, and I know that it's the start of a vision, because I can see my self and everyone around me. The side door opened and in walked a girl about my age. She was on the shorter side, like about 5'2, with a fit and curvy body. Golden brown hair was pulled up into a high ponytail. Her eyes were a honey-gold color, and with full red lips. Mavrick and Jayden both growl "MINE." Then the vision ends.

"Dad, Bata Matthew grab Mav and Jay now." They both grab them without questions. Next, the door to the side opens and without even thinking, she asks, "So what can I get you all to drink?" Then she takes a breath in and looks up, locking eyes with Mav and Jay." MATES, well sh*t, mom was right."

"Hello, my name is Annie Rose White, and I'm the daughter of the Moon light priestess. You can let them go, it's okay." Annie said as she walked up to them. "May I know your names?"

"Ah, Hmmm" both keep mumbling, dad slaps them on the back of the head to try and do a little reset. It seemed to work as Mav introduced them. "Yes, my name is Maverick Christian Crescent Moon, and he is Jayden Fisher Crescent Moon."

"Can I... I h…ug y…ou" Jayden stuttered out, "Don't mind him, he's a buffon, especially when he's nervous. Sometimes I forget that we are twins. Well, that is until I look at him, and I'm reminded that we have the same face. The only difference is I'm smart, and he, well let's just say… Ouch." Maverick was saying until dad slapped him upside the head.

"Knock it off, we only have an hour to eat. Stop teasing your brother." Dad says, "And nice to meet you Annie. Also, good luck they are your problem now." Annie giggled as the twins said "Hey!" at the same time. "Jayden, you asked for a hug? I would like that very much." Annie said, well, walking up to him. You could hear both of them sigh from across the room. Since no one else was going to ask, I got up and introduced myself, "Hello, I'm Octavia Lilly Crescent Moon, the youngest sibling too, dumm and dummer. Would you like me to introduce everyone? Also, would you be able to join us? If you can?"

"Yes, I would love for you to introduce everyone, and I can see if I can get off early, since I only have like another 30 minutes of my shift left. Let me ask my manager first, then I will be right back." Annie said, then headed back out the door that said "Employees Only".

While waiting for her, I looked around the room. It's pretty basic. The room was on the right side of the main entrance. It looked like they pushed the tables together in the middle of the room to make one big table. The wall has a couple of windows on the back side along with a door that looks to lead to a smoking area. From where we came in, there is a door next to it that leads to what I think is the kitchen. It's the door that says "Employees Only." A couple of minutes later, Annie walks in with another girl. She is ghostly pale, and smells just like all vampires smell, like blood and death, but there is also a floral mixer. Which tells me that she's also Fae. Which is weird. Most vamps and Faes don't mix.

"Hello again everyone, this is Sunshine, but just call her Sunny, she is going to be your waiter now." Annie said as she took a new seat between Mave and Jay.

We all ordered our drinks then went to get our food, me being me I grabbed two plates one for my side and the other for all the different types of meat.
