Lindsey and I get comfortable in the very back, as she asks, "So what were you thinking of while in lala land back there?" I look over at her with a sad smile and said, "just about all the fun and trouble us five used to get into all the time and how much I'm going to miss just being a pup. Once we get to the academy, everything is going to change. I just hope it does not change too much."
"I know what you mean, I got up early just to sit in my room and think about all of our sleep over, and study nights before a big test that we used to have. At least we will still have each other. Oh, what house do you think you will get into? I'm hoping for Heart Fire" Lindsey said.
"Do you really have to ask?" I asked Lindsey with a raised eyebrow. "Wait you already know because you have vision, right?" Lindsey said
"Ya, and no I'm not telling anyone what happens in the vision." I said before anyone could ask me what happened.
"Probably the Royal Blood. Once they feel your aura." Lucas said "And I have a feeling where ever Avia is placed us four will probably housed with her as her guardian's."
"Yes, our aura will be strong but nowhere close to yours, Avia. The only person that will be able to match yours will be your mate," Lee said.
"Mates." I whispered as Emmett asked mom for some of the sandwiches and to turn on some music.
Lindsey looked at me like she had a question, so I used the link to tell her to "ask me through the link please."
"You said mates as in plural, as in more than one. Is there something that you know? Did you have a vision?" she fired question after question in the link.
"Yes," I linked her back, "but it was not clear, I could not see their faces. I just knew that when we got to school and got to the sorting area. Two very tall teens walked in a little late and it would be when I was being sorted in to a house. I've been having the vision for the past month, but I never see there face. Just hear two voices that sound the same but different at the same time."
"Breath Avia, don't know if you realize it but your releasing your aura." Lindsey says as she grabs my hand and gives it a small squeeze.
"Lilly are you okay," I linked my wolf, "just fine. That was not me releasing it, that was all you." Lilly responded. "what?" I link her, then look up and see that my dad and mom are both sweating and my mom is whimpering. "Sorry, mamma, I'm just nerves." I apologize, and pull my aura back in. This is going to be a long four hours.
Emmett handed me a sandwich, and linked me, "Sissy, are you okay? What's going on inside that head of yours?"
"I'm sorry that I have not told you everything. Lilly always told me that it was not the time, there had been so many times I wanted to tell you everything." I linked Emmett back. As I looked at my hand, I was not able to look him in the eye.
"Alpha is there, anyway, we can pull over for a moment. My nerves are making me nauseous all the way back here." Lindsey asked
Emmett then said "I can switch spots with you so that you can have the window down."
"Ya, that's fine, there is a pull off just up a head." My dad responded.
"Are you okay?" I asked Lindsey, "I'm fine. Just tell Em everything even if it has to be through the link, okay?"
"Thanks" I whispered back. "I may be your best female friend, but he is your soul best friend. I know that, and right now you need him." Lindsey tells me.
We pulled over at a little family-owned gas station. You can tell because of this sign in big letters on the front of the building, "Bubba's and Son Gas and Snack station."
"Okay, while we are here does anyone need anything?" My mamma asked. "Yes, please mamma, can you get me a Dr. Pepper Strawberry and cream soda and some more water, please." Everyone gives my mom a list of what they want, before she walks inside the other SUV that Bata Matthew is driving pulls up next to us, and female Bata Caroline jumps out before the vehicle even comes to a complete stop.
She runs over to our vehicle and grabs Lindsey and asks, "Linny, are you okay baby girl?"
"Yes, mom, my nerves are just all over the place, and it made me nauseous for a bit. I promise I will be fine. Luna Lisa was going to get me some water and crackers to help settle my stomach okay." Lindsey said to try and calm her mom down.
"Come Caroline, help me grab all the snacks." My mom asked, saving Lindsey from being even more question from her mom.
