“Alice is my friend; she will be staying here for a while, Sis,” Mr. Michael responded to his sister.
“Wow. Your friend,” Hannah said, her face brightening. “Come and join us,” she added. She gently pulled Alice to have a seat.
“Alice, meet my sister, Hannah. She's dear to my heart; she came over this morning for us to celebrate our win,” Mr. Michael revealed, clearing Alice's thoughts.
“My mother would have been here to celebrate with us, but she's on vacation, and she will be back next week,” he added.
“It's nice meeting you, Alice. Feel at home,” Hannah said, stretching her arm to shake hands with her.
“Thank you so much for having me; I really appreciate it.” Alice appreciated and reciprocated the handshake and embraced each other.
