Three A Perilous Proposal Kalum sat alone in his thoughts, the warmth of the fireplace relaxing his bones. He’d been away far too long. He remembered the life he’d lived before, his companions at his side. So many adventures they’d shared. Blemm sat in the far corner, re-wrapping the handle of his war hammer, humming an ancient tune, while Hack sat at the table hunched over a square glass plate, one of his many gadgets.
