Thirty Eight Biomech Blast Kalum opened his eyes with a start. He was sitting in a forest clearing surrounded by giant ever-reaching dark oak trees. The bark of the enormous trees appeared almost black. A small campfire crackled before him and he rubbed his eyes. Checking his shoulder, he saw the wound he’d just received from the goblin was gone. He jerked at the sound of rustling brush and the distinctive cracking of footsteps in the distance. From the foliage, a large man stepped into the clearing, a slain deer slung over one mighty shoulder. Kalum blinked, not believing his own eyesight.
