Dragon Discovered
The cart had stopped moving and Mariah heard a door open and shut. She was in complete darkness. She waited several minutes and, hearing no further sounds, she rolled herself out from underneath the serving trolley. Standing slowly, she felt about with her hands to locate the door.
Opening the door, she peeked out into an empty corridor. There seemed no sign of anyone up or down the hall, and she spotted the elevator in one direction. Dashing from the storage room, she raced up the hall and ducked into a deserted enclave just as a pair of goblins turned a corner ahead of her and came walking up the corridor.
She held her breath and pressed herself against the wall as the goblins passed by her. Looking up, she saw a camera near the ceiling pointed directly
