Dirty messages

Rose :  If looks could kill a person I was going to be dead by now. Laura was constantly glaring at me with anger running not only through her veins but every part of her body.

      Following her advice , I called Aaron but instead of cancelling the contract, I agreed to sign it and on top of that as soon as possible. I was always a student who scored the best grades but now I doubt my smartness. And the same doubt I can see in Laura's eyes. Actually I think she has already confirmed that I am dumb.

       Are you out of your mind Rose . Why did you say that you want to sign the contract as soon as possible, Laura asked.

    He said that I was going to regret it ,he was challenging me . How could I back out now Laura . I have to do this now no matter what.

      It's called digging up your own grave rose, she said in a low tone as if thinking about the consequences.

    I can do this Laura . It's not a big deal

           Not a big deal but it is a f*****g contract she almost screamed . I know you like him . What if you really start falling for him. I don't want to see you heartbroken ,she expressed her thoughts.

    Don't worry I will not allow my heart to cross the limits, I said while thinking if that is even possible.

Brain and heart never go hand in hand . They always seem to run in opposite directions. Some people give the controlling power to the brain but in my case it rests with my heart.

     Laura's words brought me back from my thoughts. You know I will be always there for you she said.

      Now you are acting like my boyfriend huh, I said.

Am I not your boyfriend, Laura said while faking a hurt expression.

Oh certainly you are. Laura can be a b***h somethings but she  knows how to brighten up my mood.

After our conversation she left for some important work. I prepared some food to munch while turning on the tv.  Setting up the food on the table I 

started munching. I washed the dishes and opened my laptop to schedule Alex's meeting. Was Laura's important work related to Alex , huh . I wonder have they exchanged numbers yet . But she already has a boyfriend.  Shrugging off that thought I concentrated on my work as I have a lot to do.

     My phone buzzed and I was cursing the person who disturbed me during my work . And when I saw the name I started cursing again. It was a message by him .

He had texted hi.

Bye.

Did I disturb you he asked

Oh ,yes you did I replied.

I wanted to tell you something important.

Important?

I am waiting for the day when you would be screaming my name .

I am already screaming your name, I texted back.

What ? Really.

Oh wait is he ...shit . He  was talking about screaming his name while having s*x. And I thought about it the other way.

No . You are a d**k head I texted.

So you were thinking about my d**k .

No and bye I don't want to talk to you .

I kept my phone back after texting him that. I could not take his dirty messages anymore. I did my work and entered my room to do the next task .

And that is sleeping. I adjusted the covers and soon sleep engulfed me in its embrace.

            Hearing the alarm I got up from my bed . I freshened up , made myself breakfast and hurried out after checking out myself in the mirror. On the way I saw Alex's missed call. Why did he call? Was I late . But there is still time . I was already standing infront of the office building . So I decided not to call him back . 

   I entered Alex's office and saw that and I saw Alex and Aaron sitting and chatting . Both of them looked devilishly handsome. Alex was in his business suit while Aaron was wearing casual clothes . He could wear anything and still could charm anyone. Alex's cough made me realise that I was literally drooling. When I met Aaron's eyes he smirked and I blushed while remembering yesterdays messages.

       I acted as if I didn't notice him and handed Alex his schedule.  Oh Rose meet my friend Aaron, Alex said .

I already know him and you know that too, I said. The way you were ignoring his presence I thought you needed an introduction. 

       Oh now I could not even ignore him . Alex told me to take a seat .

Before I could say a word . Aaron spoke , " The contract is ready".
