DENVER’S POV
I got into the house and grandma immediately came on to me.
“Oh my God Denver honey.” Grandma said hugging me. “We were so worried about you.”
I looked around. Everyone was gathered in the living room waiting for me. Even Elise was standing close to Denis. This was definitely serious.
“Are you alright?” She asked me.
Grandma was really fussy. A lot.
I laughed gingerly.
“Yeah I am grandma.” I said as I closed jack’s umbrella which was my newly acquired gift and folding it back neatly to its original real size. “I was alright though. My battery died, but a friend gave me a lift. I called grandpa to tell him I was ok just so you guys wouldn’t be really worried about where I was.”
“Yes your grandpa said so.” Grandma said giving grandpa some hot looks.
