I sit back down at my desk after the close call with Reya. I can smell her all over my office and since I caught her, her scent is now all over me.
All I can imagine is licking every inch of her. Tasting parts of her that no other man has ever done. The woman is beyond stunning. I have never seen a more beautiful woman, and I have seen my fair share. Reya was always something different, but Reya, the woman, doesn't compare.
I just don't understand how the Moon Goddess could give me a mate that is in love with another man, had a baby with another man. If that wasn't enough, she doesn't even know I am her mate.
I am lost in my self-deprecating thoughts, when there is a knock on my door, followed by Stephanie's voice. "Hey boss, got a minute?" I motion for her to come in.
