Uncle Cliff and I sit in silence for a few moments. Stephanie has walked off to handle something, leaving Uncle Cliff and I alone.
"You know, that new mate of mine like to keep me active. What's say you and I take a walk?" Uncle Cliff suggests, but I instantly turn him down. "No, I need to be here in case there is an update about Reya!"
Uncle Cliff rises to his feet, with a small smile on his face. "You are the alpha. You personally brought her in. Who do you think the first person they are going to mind link is?" He asks humorously.
I stand to my feet. "Fine, but we walk around the building only. I don't want to be far." I say sternly. Uncle Cliff slimy shrugs his shoulders. "Makes sense to me." He says, and we begin towards the exit sign.
