“What do you mean by that doctor?” I asked angrily refusing to believe the words I had just heard.
“I'm sorry Luna but in all my years of practice, I have never seen a case like this. He isn't dead but he isn't alive either. I can't think of anything that can knock out an Alpha of his strength but I'm going to try my best to make sure he comes back to full health until then, we are going to keep him under observation” he replied.
I nodded as I processed the entire news. I could feel my anger rising as my hands tightened into fists.
I looked back at Lucas who was lying down on the bed with his eyes shut. By now, I was sure that the news of Lucas being attacked had spread all over the pack.
“Listen to me doctor, it will be in your best interest to make sure that he recovers,”
