Elena's POV
Her inner anguish mirrored the tempest outside. Rain pelted Adrian's estate's windows, each drop serving as a reminder of her emotions' constant thumping. Everything had been turned upside down by the picture Adrian had discovered of her in the garden, inadvertently photographed with her hand on her tummy.
